CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING
Meeting Minutes of October 12, 2010
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on October 12, 2010, in
Resource Room #2 located on the second floor of Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main Street, Auburn, WA.
The following members were in attendance.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Dick Kammeyer and Member Cyril Van Selus.
STAFF PRESENT: Police Chief Bob Lee, Assistant City Attorney Steven Gross, and Civil Service Secretary
Terry Mendoza.
ACTION: -
Chairman Kammeyer called the meeting to order at 3:33 p.m.
Approval of the September 21, 2010 Civil Service Commission meefing minutes:
• Minutes were accepted as written. Motion by Member Van Selus; Chairman Kammeyer
seconded.
Approval of the September 28, 2010 Police Sergeant Promotional Eligibility list:
• Eligibility list approved. Motion by Member Van Selus; Chairman Kammeyer seconded.
Approval of the September 30, 2010 Lateral Police Officer Eligibility list:
• Eligibility list approved. Motion by Member Van Selus; Chairman Kammeyer seconded.
Approval of the October 1, 2010 Entry Police Officer Eligibility list:
o Eligibility list approved. Motion by Member Van Selus; Chairman Kammeyer seconded.
UPDATES:
The following updates were provided:
s Status on lateral and entry levef police officer candidates in the background process.
• Oral Boards for lateral police applicants are continuing.
• Oral Boards for entry level police applicants will be held on October 14 and 21.
