Call to Order - Chairperson Ken Bradford B. Review of October 12, 2010 Minutes. Motion and second to accept August 10th, 2010 Minutes. C. Old Business: Power Outages - Obtaining a larger, permanent generator is again an issue. For families and staff to have comfortable and safe accommodations is crucial. Suicide - There was a suicide in the cemetery approximately 45 days ago. A review of closing procedures and intradepartmental communication was made. D. New Business: Tree of Remembrance - Tree is in place and we continue to receive positive feedback regarding it. Fern J. Haynes Trust - Irrevocable trust-she has changed her mind regarding location. Legal has made suggestions. We have sent a cancellation to the trust company and forwarded a copy to Fern. Fern requested a letter of guaranty which legal advised against doing. Marker options / ForestWalk - Markers that have designs are being explored. PCM has options in addition to what is currently being used. 2010 Pre-need Trusts -We have exceeded last year in regards to trusted dollars. Currently at $59,294 and the total for 2009 was $38,351. Trees at Pioneer Cemetery - It was voted to approve the removal of the damaged big leaf maple trees at Pioneer Cemetery. They will be replaced with maple trees. Upright Plots - We mapped space for six additional upright plots in Block 41A, 9B. One plot has sold and is being utilized. This creates an additional $23,970.000 of potential plot revenue. E. Reports: In October of 2010, we had approximately $67,000 in receipts with 18 total placements In November of 2010, we had approximately $36,000 in receipts with 10 total placements. For December, as of the 14th, revenue was at 31,900 with 15 placements made to date. F. Adjournment: The meeting adjourned at 2:45 PM.
