MINUTES
1. CALL TO ORDER
December 27, 2010
Chair Peloza called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m. in Conference Room 3 on
the second floor of City Hall, 25 West Main Street, Auburn WA. Members
present- Chair Bill Peloza, Vice Chair Sue Singer, Member John Partridge. Staff
present: Mayor Pete Lewis, Chief of Police Bob Lee, Finance Director Shelley
Coleman, Police Secretary Kathy Divelbiss, citizen Wayne Osborne and Waste
Management representative Susan Robinson.

A. Approval of Minutes of the December 13, 2010 Municipal Services
Committee Meeting
Vice Chair Singer moved to accept the Minutes. Member Partridge
seconded. Chair Peloza concurred.
MOTION CARRIED: 3-0
IV. ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS (Action Items)
V. INFORMATION / DISCUSSION ITEMS
A. Solid Waste Rates
Director Coleman presented an updated handout with the current data to
be considered. The Committee discussed solid waste at length and there
will be additional information and options presented at a future Municipal
Services meeting. Chair Peloza provided a list of solid waste questions to
the committee, Mayor and Finance Director Coleman. These questions
will be reviewed and responded to at a future MSC meeting.
VI. ADJOURN
The meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
