City Council agrees not to apply a street payback to King County Parcel #112104-9020 owned by George
H and Charles M Lyden for City improvements to be constructed by the A Street NW Extension Project
(C207A).
Background Summary:
Resolution 4604 authorized the Mayor to execute documents necessary to acquire property related to the
A Street NW Extension (A/B Corridor) project (C207A).
During negotiations for the partial acquisition of parcel #122104-9020 (Lyden) the owner requested the
City agree to not apply the street payback as allowed under ACC 12.70 for the costs of construction of
roadway improvements along the properties frontage within the City's proposed project limits. Per ACC
12.70, the application of a street paybacOk for City projects is a council decision.
Granting this request will move the agreement with the property owner for this partial acquisition to
closure within the approved budget for the project.
