A. Call to Order - Chairperson Ken Bradford
B. Review of February 15, 2011 Minutes. Motion by Greg Dobbs and second by Warren Olson to accept
February 15th, 2011 minutes.
C. Old Business:
New board member introductions
D. New Business:
Copper Beach trees in 2nd Addition are Auburn's 2011 tree of the year, by Tree Board.
Lower gate is now locked for safety reason.
Staff - Two seasonal employees have been hired and are working. Interviews are being held for the third
seasonal employee. The length of service is seven months. Rich Teitzel is no longer employed at the
cemetery. He has obtained employment elsewhere. We are in the process of hiring a full time
employee for his replacement
Spring Projects - Memory Meadow (additional 70 graves with liners pre-placed)
ForestWalk expansion that includes water feature and rock wall.
New Canopy - Has larger wheels for ease of use. Sturdily built for longevity.
Energy Saving Lights - Have been installed throughout the office and shop. Includes sensors and timers.
Easter Sunrise Service - Messiah Lutheran will be presiding again. The service is open to all faiths.
E. Reports:
Discussion on who will man gates Memorial Day Weekend. Consensus was that Mt. View
Staff would because of questions that could be answered by staff.
In February of 2011, we had approximately $64,000 in revenue with a total of 17 placements
In March of 2011, we had approximately $79,900 in revenue with a total of 18 placements.
