A. Ordinance No. 6354
F4.3
An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Aubum,
Washingfon, amending Chapter 8.08 of the Aubum City Code
relating to solid waste service fees and_ charges
Finance Director Coleman reported that Ordinance Na 6354
passed out of Municipal Services Committee last week with a
recommendation for Council approval.
Director Coleman explained that because the rate increase will go
into effect in J.une 2011 (rather than January 2011) the rates for the
second and third years have been increased fo account for the
delay in implementing the rates this year. The rates reflect a lesser
commercial subsidy of the residential rates.
Chair Backus commented that the proposed rates reflect an
acceptable compromise on rates between the Municipal Services
Committee proposal and the Finance Committee recommendation:

The.Municipal Services Committee will review the rates annually
