January 23, 1990
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.
Those present included Mayor Pro-Tem Bud Larson and
Councilmembers Stacey Brothers, Pat Burns, Don Kurle,
Judi Roland and Pete Whittall.
Councilmembers interviewed the following five
candidates for Auburn City Council Position #3: Landon
M. Gibson III, Stanley W. Brown, Jr., Richard E. (Rich)
Wagner, Diana J. Holz, and Kathleen R. (Kathy) Clyde.
Council candidate, Kenneth Gustafson, submitted a
written request for withdrawal from the interviews
which was accepted by the Councilmembers.
Deliberations followed the interviews. Councilmembers
reached consensus that Rich Wagner be appointed to fill
the vacancy at the next regularly scheduled Council
meeting on February 5, 1990.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:15 p.m.
