Mayor Roegner opened the public hearing.
Dennis Holt 505 South Washington Avenue, Kent, WA
Dennis Holt, representative for Lone Properties, explained the location
of the proposed rezone property located on the north side of 16th
Street N.W. between "A" Street N.E. and "B" Street N.W.
Dennis Holt noted through discussions with staff there is some concern
about permitted uses as they exist within the zoning code that are less
than desirable given a C-3 permitted use designation. In negotiations
with staff with Planning Commission concurrence, the proposal is for a
contract C-3 zoning which provides certain restriction on certain uses
that might otherwise be permitted in C-3, and staff and Planning
Commission declarations of non-significance suggest what we might
call a limited C-3 use.

to close the public hearing.
