CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING
Meeting Minutes of May 10, 2011
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on May 10, 2011 in Resource
Room #2.located on the second floor of Au6urn City Hall, 25 West Main Street, Auburn, WA. The
fo►lowing members were in attendance.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Gene Cerino, Roger'Thordarson and Cyril Van Selus.
STAFF PRESENT: Police Chief Bob Lee, Assistant City Attorney Steven Gross, and Civil Service Secretary
Terry Mendoza.
ACTION:
Chairman Cerino called the meeting to order at 3:34 p.m.
Approval of the April 12, 2011 Civil Service Commission meeting minutes:
• Minutes were accepted as written. Motion by Chairman Pro Tem Thordarson: Member Van
Selus seconded.
Approval of the May 6, 2011 Entry Police Officer Eligibility list:
• Eligibility list approved. Motion by Member Van Selus; Chairman Pro Tem Thordarson
seconded.
U PDATES:
The following updates were provided to the Commission:
~ Lateral Police Oral Boards set for May 17, 2011
• In June, Sergeant deChoudens and Commander Lathrop will be retiring after having each served
over 30 years with the Auburn Police Department.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting adjourned at 3:40 p.m.
