AMG Airport Maintenance and Improvements
• Crack Sealing of runway asphalt — completed 13,800 linear feet of cracks
• Crack Sealing of runway to taxiway asphalt — completed approx. 5,000 linear feet of cracks
• Crack Sealing of run -up areas of RW 16 & RW 34 — completed approx. 2,500 linear feet of cracks
• Crack Sealing of hangar rows 9 and 10 taxiway area — completed approx. 3212 linear feet of cracks
• Completed Condo Hangar inspections
• Cleaned, prepped, repainted traffic pattern segmented circle with high gloss white paint
• Serviced all electric motors (14) for roll -up doors on hangar row 2 hangars
• Repaired airport office roof and applied complete hot tar covering
• Installed signs on each entry gate to identify each location
• Replaced all aircraft visitor parking tie -down ropes
• Continuing to install netting in open hangars to stop birds from nesting
• Removed all the dead plants /bushes at the north end hangar area. Clean up landscape
• Weekly landscape maintenance service outside the fenced area of the airport
• Mow the entire airport. Mowing farther to the west as dry weather allowed
• Cleaned out storm water catch basins of debris
• Sprayed all grass and weeds growing in cracks then burned to remove
