Ajj$jJ� * MORE THAN YOU IMAGINED RESOLUTION NO. 4776 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR' TO ACCEPT A GRANT FROM THE WASHINGTON STATE - TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT BOARD FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE: M STREET SE UNDERPASS PRO;IECT WHEREAS, the City desires to improve the safety, capacity, and efficiency of the cros.sing of M Street SE and the BNSF Stampede Pass Railway; and WHEREAS, lowering M Street SE below the tracks and construc4ing a railroad bridge aver the tracks will improve the safety, capacity, and efficiency of M Street SE at the crossing; and 1NHEREAS, the City received a grant in the amount of $3,000,000 from the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) to assist in the construction of tfie M Street SE Underpass; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to use Transportation Improyement Board grant monies to finance capital improvements to the transportation system. Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to implement such other administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry out the directives of this legislation. Section 3.
