CIVIL SERViCE COMMISSION MEETING
Meeting Minutes of November 8,2011
The regularly stheduled meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on November 8, 2011 in
Resource Room #2 located on the second floor of Aubum City Hall, 25 West Main Street, Auburn, WA.
The followingmembers were in attendance.
MEIIABERS PRESENT: Gene Cerino, Roger Thordarson and Cyril Van Selus.
STAFF PRESENT: Police Chief Bob Lee, Assistant City Attorney Steven Gross, and Civil Service Secretary
Terry Mendoza.
ACTION:
Chairman Cerino called themeeting.to order at 3:32 p.m.
Approval of the October 11, 2011 Civil Service Commission meeting minutes:
• Minutes wereaccepted as written. Motion by Chairman Pro Tem Thordarson; Member Van
Selusseconded.
Approval of the October 19, 2011Entry Level Police Eligibility list:
• Eligibility list approved. Motion by Chairman Pro Tem Thordarson; Member Van Selus
seconded.
Approval of the October 21, 2011 Lateral Police Eligibility list:
• Eligibility list approved. Motion by Chairman Pro Tem Thordarson; Member Van Selus
seconded.
UPDATES:
• Currently recNiting far the following Police department po.sitions: (3) commissioned o�cers,
(1) parking enforcement, (1) records specialist,and (1) crime analyst.
ADJUURNMENT:
7herz being no further business to come tiefore the Commission, the meeting adjourned at 3:36 p.m.
