A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, RELATING TO THE PROPOSED
VACATION OF ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY, SITUATED ON THAT PORTION OF LAND
DESIGNATE� AS A PUSLIC ALLEY LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 40 FEET ON THE
WEST SIDE OF THE NORTH-SOUTH ALLEY ADJACENT TO RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-
WAY BET4fEEN "L" AND "M" STREET SOUTHEAST SOUTH OF 4TH STREET SOUTH-
EAST, SITUATE WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Of THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, THAT
A public hearing shall be had upon the netition of two-thirds or more
'property owners of the hereinafter described property, for the purpose of
hearing and determining whether or not the hereinafter described alley
right-of-way, situated on that portion of land designated as a pubtic alley
running approximately 40 feet on the west side of the north-south alley
adjacent to railroad right-of-way 6etween "L" and "M" Street Southeast south
of 4th Street 5outheast, situated witfiin the corporate limits of the City of
Auburn, shall be vacated. That a hearing on said petition shall be had on the
17th day of Fe6ruary, 1981 , at 8:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers in the Auburn
City Hall , and all persons interested in said petition may then be heard. That
the legal description of the a11ey right-of-way to be vacated is as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 4, Block 3, Knickerbocker's
Second Addition as recorded in Volume 20 of Plats, page 89, Records
of King County, Washington said point being on the north line of the
Burlington Northern Railroad Right of Way; thence north along the east
line of said Lot 4, 26.63 feet; thence northeasterly along the easterly
line of Lot 3, 14.38 feet; thence south parallel with the east line of
said Lot 4 to the nortf� line of the Burlington Northern Railroad right
of way; thence west along the Burlington Nortf�ern Railroad right of way
10 feet more or tess to the point of 6eginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, THAT
the City Clerk is hereby directed to give required notice of the pendency of
the petition referred to hereina6ove as provided by law.
