Bids for work required in all areas received and work began. Floor removed, oil /water separator catch basin (approved by City) and plumbing installed (approved by City), water line installed to hangar (approved by City), new concrete sloped floor to catch basin poured, brushed and stress cuts made. Eight (8) vapor barrier low energy light installed, vapor barrier light switch and electrical outlet install ( permitted by Contractor). Fiberglass reinforced plastic 4 X 8 foot (25 sheets) installed by AMG staff will be completed by 3/24/2012. Final inspection scheduled for 3/24/2012. Once final inspection completed tenants will be notified of wash rack and directions on its use. 11 Airport Master Plan Coleman /AMG TBD 3/21/2012 2/2014 Mr. Garcia met with FAA airport staff in charge of the Mid -Term Update master plan. During this master plan update the FAA is also requiring a Wildlife Hazard Assessment. FAA staff indicates about a 24 month process to complete both at a cost of approximately $225,000.00. Recently passed FAA re- authorization changes the federal grant program from 95% down to 90 %. Contacted Jeff at AvTech to be part and Recover Plan of the process. AvTec is located on the airport and is an accident recovery company for aircraft. Will also ask AFS shop to participate. Contacted RVFA and Auburn Police to be included in the process. Additionally the plan will include RVFA training annually. 16 Update Airport Chris Anderson /RM TBD 4/18/2012 3/31/2012 Task has been assigned to Reid Middleton and the Storm water process has begun. "SWWPP" Plan 18 West Side Trees AMG TBD 4/18/2012 8/31/2012 Trees on the west side of the airport in the wet land areas have grown to a height that penetrates the Runway Safety Area. These need to be cut down/removed. Contacted a tree removal to give ideas and pricing. Grant funds might be available from FAA or State for this project.
