Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 2:15 pm by Bryce Landrud. Those board members
attending in addition to Mr. Landrud were Arnie Galli, and Lonnie Sundal. There is no quorum.
Also present at the meeting were Parks Horticulturist Kirk Hadley, Parks Maintenance worker
Richard Valenti and Parks Secretary Julie Mehl.
Minutes
February minutes were not approved as there is no quorum.
III. Correspondence /Public Input
The Urban & Community Forestry Program in cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service is
offering a $200 grant towards our Arbor Day tree planting. A "Green Vase Zelkova" will be
planted at Les Gove park as the city's Arbor Day selection on April 3rd at 10:00 am. Sara Foster
from the Department of Natural Resources will attend, per Bryce Landrud. A °Triumph Elm"
will also be planted at Les Gove park which the Auburn Garden Club will purchase.
The April Urban Tree Board meeting will be held at 11:00, April 3rd, after the Arbor Day
planting.
IV. Old Business
The Oak tree at Ballard Park selected as this year's Significant Tree will be on the Council
agenda for the April 2nd meeting.
