A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
4 WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF AUBURN TO
EXECUTE THE PURCHASE OF TAX LOT PARCEL NO 052105-9038 AS
5 OFFERED BY KING COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON FOR PUBLIC ROADWAY
AND UTILITY PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, on August 17 , 1995 the City of Auburn received
8
an offer to purchase said tax lot parcel, held in trust by
9
King County, as tax title property; and
10
WHEREAS, said tax lot parcel lies within the City of
11
Auburn 's potential annexation area located in the vicinity of
12
SE 302nd Street and 112th Avenue S.E , Lea Hill; and
13
WHEREAS, City of Auburn departments, divisions and
14
sections have reviewed and commented on this offer to
15
purchase All responses have been favorable with
16
recommendations to proceed with the purchase of said tax lot
17
parcel; and
18
WHEREAS, City of Auburn departmental review comments
19
recommend the use of said tax lot parcel as a connection of
20
public roadway and utilities corridor, therefore benefiting
21
the public use and interests; and

WHEREAS, said tax lot parcel has previously been through
2
the tax foreclosure process thereby removing any and all
3
encumbrances including but not limited to liens, judgments,
4
assessments and taxation; and
5
WHEREAS, King County will convey said tax lot parcel to
6
the City of Auburn with a Tax Title Deed in consideration of
7
Two Hundred Forty-Six Dollars and no cents ($246. 00) Said
8
consideration includes unpaid taxes of Ten Dollars and ninety-
9
two cents ($10 92) plus King County administration fees of Two
10
Hundred Thirty-Five Dollars and no cents ($235 00) .

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
12
WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH
13
RESOLVES THAT

Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Auburn is hereby
15
authorized to execute said offer from King County, Washington,
16
to purchase Tax Parcel No 052105-9038 for public roadway and
17
utility purposes, in the amount of Two Hundred Forty-six
18
Dollars and no cents ($246 00)
19
section 2 . The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
20
such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
21
out the directives of this legislation
