A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
3 WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN
EASEMENT FOR AN ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION SYSTEM BETWEEN THE CITY
4 AND PUGET SOUND POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY FOR THE PURPOSES OF
MAINTAINING, OPERATING AND REPLACING AN EXISTING OVERHEAD
5 ELECTRIC SERVICE SYSTEM

WHEREAS, Puget Sound Power & Light Company constructed an
7
overhead electric transmission system within the original
8
Right-of-Way alignment for Oravetz Road; and
9
WHEREAS, Oravetz Road has been realigned, constructed and
10
right of way dedicated to accommodate land planning, zoning
11
and development issues concerning the Auburn School District
12
No 408 and Mill Pond Park; and
13
WHEREAS, Puget Sound Power & Light Company has relocated
14
a portion of said overhead service into the realigned Oravetz
15
Road right of way to the north limit of Mill Pond Park (as
16
shown on Exhibit "B") with continuous service easterly to the
17
original alignment of Oravetz Road, crossing the northwesterly
18
boundary of Mill Pond Park; and
19
WHEREAS, Puget Sound Power & Light Company requires and
20
easement for an electric transmission system along the north
21
boundary of Mill Pond Park between the new and previous
22
alignment of Oravetz Road as shown on Exhibit B attached
23
hereto and incorporated herein

1 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
2 WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH
3 RESOLVES THAT
4 Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
5 Auburn are herewith authorized to execute an Easement for an
6 electric transmission system between the City and Puget Sound
7 Power and Light Company for the purposes of. maintaining,
8 operating and replacing an existing overhead electric
9 transmission system A copy of said Easement is attached
10 hereto, denominated as Exhibits "A" and "B" , and made a part
11 hereof as though set forth in full herein
12 Section 2 . The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
13 such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
14 out the directives of this legislation

Auburn, a Municipal Corporation and Code City, situate in the County of King, State of
Washington, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct copy of
