3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF THE
4 PRELIMINARY PLAT OF "AUBURN PARK" , FOR AN ADDITIONAL YEAR
5

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 17 06 110 of the Auburn City
7
8 Code, a preliminary plat is valid for a three (3) year period;
g and
10 WHEREAS, ACC 17 06 110 and RCW 58 17 140 allow an
11
extension of the preliminary plat if the applicant has shown
12
good faith in obtaining final plat approval; and
13
14 WHEREAS, the preliminary plat for Auburn Park was
15 originally approved by Resolution No 2330 which passed the
16 City Council on July 20 , 1992
17 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
18
WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH
19
20 RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS
21 aection 1 The City Council hereby finds that a good
22 faith effort has been made by the applicant in obtaining final
23
plat approval for this project in that the developer as

1 provided in ACC 17 06 110 has submitted appropriate plans to
2
the City and construction has commenced but will not be
3
completed prior to the expiration of the preliminary plat and
4
5 a one (1) year extension of the preliminary plat should be
6 granted The terms of the extension shall incorporate all the
7 conditions and terms which are contained in the preliminary
8
plat approval in Resolution No 2330
9
Section 2 The preliminary plat known as "AUBURN PARK"
10
11 is hereby extended for one (1) year until July 20 , 1997 The
12 preliminary plat of AUBURN PARK refers to property 53 acres in
13 size and located on the north side of 37th Street NE and
14
westerly of Auburn Way North zoned M-1 (Light Industrial)
15
Section 3 The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
16
17 such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
18 out the directives of this legislation
