3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO APPOINT KING COUNTY
4 DISTRICT COURT JUDGES AND DISTRICT COURT JUDGES PRO TEM AS
5 JUDGES PRO TEM FOR THE MUNICIPAL COURT
6
WHEREAS, from time-to-time City incustodies are before
7
8 Seattle District Court when incarcerated in the King County
g Jail; and
10 WHEREAS, it would facilitate the judicial process to have
11 the District Court Judge in King County become a pro tem of
12
Auburn to resolve Auburn issues; and
13
14 WHEREAS, the judges appointed as District Court Judges
15 and District Court Judges Pro Tem are qualified to act as
16 Municipal Court Judges
17 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON IN A
18
REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS
19
20 Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Auburn, Washington,
21 is hereby authorized to appoint King County District Court
22 Judges and District Court Judges Pro Tem as set forth in the
23
attached Exhibit "A" as Judges Pro Tem to serve in that
24
capacity at the Auburn Municipal Court

1 Section 2 . Compensation for services shall be pursuant

to the existing Interlocal Agreement between the City of
3
Auburn and King County for judicial services
4
5 Section 3 . The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
6 such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
7 out the directives of this legislation
8
