3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, ADOPTING THE 1998-2003 REVISIONS AND EXTENSIONS OF
4 THE SIX YEAR TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM OF THE CITY OF
5 AUBURN PURSUANT TO R C W CHAPTER 35 77 OF THE LAWS OF THE
STATE OF WASHINGTON

WHEREAS, R C W Chapter 35 77 of the Laws of the State of
7
8 Washington requires that the legislative body of each city and
9 town within the State of Washington prepare and adopt a six
10 year transportation program for the ensuing six calendar years
11
and that such program be reviewed annually each year
12
thereafter; and
13
14 WHEREAS, a public hearing to consider the adoption of the
15 1998-2003 revisions and extensions to the six year
16 transportation program for the City of Auburn was held on July
17
7, 1997 at the hour of 7 30 p m in the Council Chambers of
18
the Auburn City Hall, pursuant to notice published in the
19
20 legal newspaper of the City of Auburn on June 20 , 1997; and
21 WHEREAS, said 1997-2002 revision to the six year
22 transportation improvement plan of the City of Auburn was
23
approved by the City Council by motion duly made and carried
24
in said hearing

1 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,

WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, DO RESOLVE AS
3
4 FOLLOWS
5 Section 1 There is attached hereto and denominated as
6 Exhibit "A" and the terms of which are incorporated herewith
7
by reference as though fully set forth, a designation of the
8
streets within the corporate limits of the City of Auburn to
9
10 be improved in the manner therein set forth during the year
11 set for the improvement of such street or streets
12. Section 2 That the City Engineer of the City of Auburn
13
is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this
14
Resolution to the Washington State Department of
15
16 Transportation, TransAid, for filing not more than thirty (30)
17 days after the adoption of this Resolution
18 Section 3 The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
19
such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
20
out the directions of this legislation
