3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
4 WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO
RELINQUISH INTEREST IN EASEMENTS APPEARING ON THE CORRECTED
5 PLAT OF MARDEL ADDITION, VOLUME 75 , PAGE 67, RECORDED IN KING
COUNTY WASHINGTON, FOR THE PURPOSE AND BENEFIT OF LOTS 6 AND 7
6 OF SAID ADDITION
7 WHEREAS, the City of Auburn has a latent interest in two
8
separate undefined easements crossing that certain property in
9
10 Auburn, Washington known as the west 30 feet of Lot 6 and Lot
11 7 of said Plat ; and
12 WHEREAS, said easements appear solely on the Corrected
13 Plat of Mardel Addition without a defined purpose or their
14
intended beneficiaries; and
15
16 WHEREAS, without any record of City recommendation, the
17 intended purpose for the easements may have been for the
18 future extension of "D" Street N E ; and
19
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn Street Department conveyed
20
the abutting "D" Street N E (to the south) to the City of
21
22 Auburn Airport Department by Quit Claim Deed, dated October
23 15, 1982 , King County Recording No 8211050440; and

1 WHEREAS, the City' s release of its interest described

herein shall not preclude any future dedication requirements
3
for public roadway or utility purposes; and
4
5 WHEREAS, City departments were requested to comment on
6 this proposal responding with favorable results
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
8
WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH
9
10 RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS
11 Section 1 . The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of
12 Auburn are herewith authorized to relinquish the City' s
13
interest in those certain easements appearing on the Corrected
14
Plat of Mardel Addition, volume 75, page 67 recorded in King
15
16 County, Washington described as the west 30 feet of Lot 6 and
17 Lot 7 of said Addition and as shown on Exhibit "A" and to be
18 executed by Exhibit "B" attached hereto and incorporated
19
herein
20
Section 2 . The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
21
22 such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
23 out the directives of this legislation

King County, (the "City") in order to implement Resolution No.9 ' 9 S of the City Council of
the City of Auburn dated Tecem b er /, /917
WHEREAS, the City has determined pursuant to Auburn City Council Resolution No.
2195 that the City's interest in the"Easements" should be relinquished.
WHEREAS, the City's release of its interest described herein shall not preclude any
future dedication requirements for public roadway or utility purposes.

1 Relinquishes, vacates and forever abandons any interest in those certain Easements
