2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, KING
3 COUNTY, WASHINGTON, SETTING FORTH THE CITY' S INTENT TO ANNEX
CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE LEA HILL PUMP STATION PROPERTY
4 FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES

WHEREAS, the City of Auburn owns the Lea Hill Pump
6
station property, an approximate 0 8 acre parcel of property
7
located in unincorporated King County to the east of the City
8
9 Limits of Auburn, on Lea Hill Road; and
10 WHEREAS, the property is presently being used for City of
11 Auburn municipal water supply system purposes and therefore is
12 for a municipal purpose; and
13 WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 35A 14 300 the City
14 Council may by majority vote annex such property for a
15 municipal purpose when such property is owned by the City; and
16 WHEREAS, the subject property was acquired by the City of
17
Auburn on January 7 , 1965

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
19
WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH
20
RESOLVES THAT

22 Section 1 The City of Auburn intends to annex, for
23 municipal purposes, that property known as the Lea Hill Pump
24 station property which is located in unincorporated King
25

1 County east of the City Limits of Auburn, on Lea Hill Road,
2 which is legally described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
3 incorporated by reference as if set out in full
4
Section 2 That the Planning Department is hereby
5
instructed to forward notice of intent to annex to the
6
Washington State Boundary Review Board for King County
7
Section 3 The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
8
9 such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
10 out the directives of this legislation

5 That portion of Lot 20, Block 7, C D Hillman's Auburndale Addition to the City of
Seattle, Division No 1, according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 13 of Plats,
6 page 62, in King County, Washington, described as follows:
7 Beginning at a point on the South line of said Lot 20, which is north 0°07'00" east
8 30 feet and north 89°59'00" west 1007 61 feet from the South quarter corner of
Section 8, Township 21 North, Range 5 East, W M., in said county; thence north at
9 right angles to said south line 250 feet, more or less to the north line of said Lot 20;
thence west along said north line to the easterly margin of Lea Hill Road; thence
10 southwesterly along said margin to the south line of said Lot 20; thence east along
11 said south line to the point of beginning
EXCEPT ROADS

Together with, that abutting portion of the H D Longaker Road (AKA Rd # 937)
13 located southeasterly of the southeasterly margin of Lea Hill Road Southeast.
