HomeMy WebLinkAbout2971 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2 9 7 1 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, 3 WASHINGTON, DESIGNATING THE UTILITY ENGINEER AND SANITARY SEWER ENGINEER AS REPRESENTATIVES TO SERVE ON THE METROPOLITAN 4 WATER POLLUTION ABATEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 5 WHEREAS, RCW 35 58 210 provides for each metropolitan 6 municipal corporation, authorized to perform water pollution 7 abatement, to establish a Metropolitan Water Pollution 8 Abatement Advisory Committee to be composed of representatives 9 of each component city and county within such metropolitan 10 municipal corporation; and 11 WHEREAS, the Municipality of Metropolitan Seattle (Metro) 12 has established such a Water Pollution Advisory Committee; and 13 WHEREAS, the City of Auburn officially designated its 14 representative and alternate representative to said Committee 15 as authorized by Resolution No 2025; and 16 WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the interest 17 of the City of Auburn to be represented on said Metropolitan 18 Water Pollution Abatement Advisory Committee; and 19 WHEREAS, the City Council desires to change the 20 designated representative from the Public Works Director to 21 the Utility Engineer and the alternate representative from the 22 Utility Engineer to the Sanitary Sewer Engineer 23 24 25 26 ---------------------------- Resolution No.2971 June 9, 1998 Page 1 1 NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 2 OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS 3 Section 1. The City of Auburn Utility Engineer is hereby 4 designated as the representative of the City of Auburn to the 5 Metropolitan Water Pollution Abatement Advisory Committee and 6 the Sanitary Sewer Engineer is hereby designated as alternate 7 to said Committee 8 Section 2 . A conformed copy of this Resolution shall be 9 forwarded to the Metropolitan Water Pollution Abatement 10 Advisory Committee in care of Eunice Verstegen, MWPAAC, MIS 11 82, Seattle, Washington 98104 12 Section 3 .
