A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
3 WASHINGTON, FIXING 7 30 P M ON AUGUST 3 , 1998 AS THE TIME AND
DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL ON THE 1999-
4 2004 SIX YEAR TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

6 WHEREAS, RCW 35 77 010 requires that the City of Auburn
7 annually prepare and adopt a comprehensive transportation
8 improvement program for each ensuing six calendar years; and
9 WHEREAS, RCW 35 77 010 requires the City Council to
10 annually conduct a public hearing to review the work
11 accomplished under each Six Year Transportation Improvement
12 Program, to determine current City street needs, and to adopt
13 a revised and extended comprehensive transportation
14 improvement program
15 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
16 WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH
17 RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS
18 Section 1. PURPOSE. The purpose of this Resolution is
19 for the City Council to set a time and date for a public
20 hearing on the 1999-2004 Six Year Transportation Improvement
21 Program, to review the work accomplished under the program,
22 and to determine current City street needs

I Section 2 . NOTICE OF HEARING. The Council hereby
2 directs that a notice specifying the time and place of the
3 public hearing shall be published one time in a newspaper of
4 general circulation and the notice shall also be posted in
5 three public places Such public notice shall precede the
6 public hearing by at least 15 days
7 Section 3 . DATE OF HEARING. Pursuant to the
8
requirements of State law, a public hearing on said 1999-2004
9
Six Year Transportation Improvement Program will be held on
10
the 3rd day of August, 1998 at 7 30 p m in the Council
11
Chambers of the Auburn City Hall before the City Council All
12
persons interested in said Six Year Transportation improvement
13
Program may attend and testify at said hearing
14
Section 4 . AUTHORITY. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
15
16 implement such administrative procedures as may be necessary
17 to carry out the directives of this legislation
