A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
3 WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF THE
PRELIMINARY PLAT OF "EMERALD CORPORATE PARK" (FORMERLY KNOWN
4 AS "AUBURN PARK") , FOR AN ADDITIONAL YEAR
5
6 WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 17 06 110 of the Auburn City
7 Code, a preliminary plat is valid for a three (3) year period;
and
8
9 WHEREAS, ACC 17 06 110 and RCW 58 17 140 allow an
10 extension of the preliminary plat if the applicant has shown
11 good faith in obtaining final plat approval; and
12 WHEREAS, the preliminary plat for Emerald Corporate Park
13 (formerly known as "Auburn Park") was originally approved by
14 Resolution No 2330 passed by the City Council on July 20,
15 1992 ;
16 WHEREAS, the preliminary plat for Emerald Corporate Park
17 (formerly known as "Auburn Park") was extended for an
18 additional year pursuant to Resolution No 2865 passed by the
19 City Council on August 4 , 1997;
20 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
21 WASHINGTON, IN A REGULAR MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED, HEREWITH
22 RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS
23 Section 1 The City Council hereby finds that a good
24 faith effort has been made by the applicant in that the

1 developer as provided in ACC 17 06 110 has submitted
2 appropriate plans to the City and a one (1) year extension of
3 the preliminary plat should be granted The terms of the
4 extension shall incorporate all the conditions and terms which
5 are contained in the preliminary plat approval in Resolution
6 No 2330
7 Section 2 . The preliminary plat known as "EMERALD
8 CORPORATE PARK" (formerly known as "AUBURN PARK") , is hereby
9 extended for one (1) year until July 20, 1999 The
10
preliminary plat of EMERALD CORPORATE PARK refers to property
11
53 acres in size and located on the north side of 37th Street
12 NE and westerly of Auburn Way North zoned M-1 (Light
13 Industrial)
14
Section 3 . The Mayor is hereby authorized to implement
15
such administrative procedures as may be necessary to carry
16
out the directives of this legislation
