CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING
Meeting Minutes of June 12,2012
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on June 12, 2012 in Resource
Room #2 located on the second floor of Auburn City Hall, 25 West Main Street, Auburn, WA. The
following members were in attendance.
MEMBERS PRESENT Chair Cerino,Chairman Pro Tem Thordarson and Member Van Selus.
STAFF PRESENT Assistant Chief of Police Bob Karnofski,Assistant City Attorney Steven Gross, Employee
Relations%Compensation Manager John Fletcher,and Civil Service Secretary Terry Mendoza.
ACTION:
Chair Cerino called the meeting to order at 3:32 p.m.
Approval of the May 8,2012 Civil Service Commission meeting minutes:
• Minutes were accepted as written. Motion by Chairman Pro Tem Thordarson; Member Van
Selus seconded.
Approvai of the June 7, 2012 Lateral Police Officer Eligibility List:
• Eligibility list approved. Motion by Chairman Pro Tem Thordarson; Member Van Selus
seconded.
Appointment of Civil Service Examiner Secretary/Chief Examiner Pro Tem:
e Appointment approved. Motion by Chairtnan Pro Tem Thordarson; Member Van Selus
seconded.
UPDATES/NEW BUSINE55:
• No new business or updates at this time.
ADJOURNMENT.
There being no further business to come before the Commission,the meeting adjourned at 339 p.m.
