Place: City Hall Annex Building, Conference Room1, Second Floor
Approval of Minutes:
A motion was made and seconded to accept the Airport Advisory Board Minutes of April 17, 2013.
Old Business:
Airport Management RFP: Advertisement of the RFP went out on April 26t1i in several publications. Due date for
proposal is June 28t". Ms. Coleman stated that copies of the RFP are available for review.
Engineering Consultant RFQ: The engineering consulting firm Century West toured the Auburn Airport recently.
The current consultant is Reid Middleton. Both firms will be submitting a proposal to the City.
New Business:
Eagle Scout Project: Jack Ferrell, an Eagle Scout requested approval to construct a covered picnic area near the 506
building at the airport. The Advisory Board voted against the project.
Washington Aviation Association Event: Mr. Garcia discussed the possibility of having the Auburn Municipal
Airport be the host airport for the annual Northwest Aviation Conference in February 2014.
Storm water: Ms. Coleman stated that she would evaluate the storm water cost and work with Public Works.
