Approval of Minutes:
A motion was made and seconded to accept the Airport Advisory Board Minutes of May 15, 2013.
Old Business:
Airport Management RFP- Bids for the RFP are due by June 28, 2013. There were several requests for bid packets
and one company that toured the airport.
Engineering Consultant RFQ- Reid Middleton and Century West are scheduled to present their qualifications the
first week of July. According to the FAA, engineering consultants at the airport must be reviewed every five (5) years
as required by FAA grant assurance guidelines.
New Business:
Airport Advisory Meeting Day- Mr. Clearman asked if the day of the AAB meeting could be changed to a Tuesday or
Thursday due to other conflicts. A motion was made by Mr. Clearman and seconded by Mr. Jones to schedule the
meeting on Tuesday at 8:00 AM if agreed by John Theisen. The July meeting is tentatively set for July 16,11.
Discussion-
Northwest Aviation Conference and Trade Show- Mr. Garcia discussed the possibility of having the Auburn
Municipal Airport host the event instead of its current location of Pierce County Airport. Auburn has facilities to
accommodate those who fly in and believes transportation from Auburn to Puyallup could be easily arranged.
The matrix was reviewed
