NOTICE OF PUBUC HEARING
STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM PLAN
BY DIRECTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON,
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Aubum City
Council at 7:30 PM, Monday, March 3, 2014 in the City Hall Council Chambers located
at 25 West Main Street, Aubum, Washington, on the City's Stormwater Management
Program Plan that was prepared in response to the Washington State Department of
Ecology's Westem Washington Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit. The Phase II
permit covers the discharges from Aubum`s storm drainage system. Implementation of
the Stormwater Management Program Plan is designed to reduce the discharge of
pollutants, protect water quality, and meetthe requirements of the Federal Clean Water
Act. The Stormwater Management Program Plan is available on-line at the City of
Aubum web-site, and the public may comment at the hearing, or in writing prior to the
meeting.
. Any interested person is invited to appear and commerrt on the City's Stormwater
Management Program Plan. Non-English speaking residents wishing to review
documents should contact the City of Aubum Community Development and Public
Works Department. Citizens with speech, sight or hearing disabilRies wishingto review
documents should contact the City of Auburn within 10 calendar days prior to the
Council meeting, as to the type of service or equipment needed. Each request will be
considered individually according to the type of request, the availability of resources
and the financial ability of the City to provide the requested services or equipment.
