A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AUBURN, WABHINGTON, DECLARING THE NEED FOR
BOTH PORTIONS OF TRACT X OF KING COUNTY
SHORT PLAT NUMBER 584147, IDENTIFIED ON
EASEMENT FILED UNDER KING COUNTY RECORDING
NUMBER 8410030621; RECORDS OF KING COUNTY
WASHINGTON, AS NECESSARY FOR ROAD PURPOSES,
AND CALLING UPON THE OBLIGATED PARTIES TO
CONVEY THE SAME FOR SUCH PURPOSES
WHEREAS, Hazel View Developmerrt, in the vicinity of Hazelwood Elemerrtary
School, located westerly of the north extension of 122nd Ave. SE., in Aubum,
Washington, is a plat under development which needs access from said northerly
extension of 122nd Ave. SE; and
WHEREAS, the property over which fhe access is necessary includes territory
that has been earmarked for access/road purposes as well as other property upon
which there is an existing easement and a covenant forthe territory of the easemenYto
be conveyed to King County [and its successor, the City of Aubum] upon the
determination that said territory is needed for public road purposes; and
WHEREAS, based upon the access needs for the Hazel View Development, the
City Council has determined that there is a.need for the territory of the easement to be
used.forpubliapurposes, and the City Council desires to require the parties obligated to
convey said territory for such purposes to do so.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY resolves as follows:
Section.1. That the City Council declares the need for both portions of Tract X of
King County Short Plat Number 584147, ident�ed on the easement ;filed under King
Resolution No. 5061

County recording number 8410030621, records of King County Washington, as
necessary for road purposes, and calls upon the obligated parties to convey the same
for such purposes.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to implement such administrative
procedures as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the directives of this
legisla4ion.
Section 3. That this resotution shall be in full force and effect upon passage and
signatures hereon.
