The Auburn Downtown Association, established with By -laws, is comprised of a Board of Directors and paid Executive Director The Auburn Downtown Association is a 501(c)3 Receives BIA monies which the City collects when businesses pay for their business licenses. This committee oversees the publishing of the Downtown Business Guide - the 2014 edition is in the works is working with Doug Lein and Nancy Wyatt to conduct focus groups for the downtown area keep status on number /locations of business vacancies Is looking forward - how could we move people downtown? One idea is a trolley system to move people quickly from one area to another. Main Street Four Point Approach t Organization Organization establishes consensus and cooperation by building partnerships among various groups that have a stake in the downtown business area. The committee oversees public relations, fund raising, and staffing /volunteer development. This committee will have its first meeting in April, 2014.
