NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BY DIRECTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OFTHE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON,
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a publichearing will be held before the Aubum City
Council at 7:30 PM, Monday, May 19, 2014, in the City Hall Council Chambers located
at 25 West Main Street, Auburn, Washington, on the following:
Franchise Aareement
The appiication of tw telecom of washington Ilc, for a non-exlcusive
franchise for the right of entry, use and occupation of certain public
rigM(s)-of way within the city, expressly to install, construct, erect, operate,
maintain, repair, relocate and remove its facilitieis in, on, upon, aiong
and/or across those right(s)-of-way. The purpose of the public hearing is
to determine public benefit and impact, applicant compliance, public right-
of-way capacity to accommodate the telecommunication system, potential
disruption of public right-of way, and present and future use of 4he public
right-of-way.
Any'interested person is invited to appearand voice approval or disapproval of the
Application for Franchise Agreement. Non-English speaking residents wishing to
review documents related to the ftanchise application should contact the City of Aubum
Community Development and Public Works Department. Citizens with speech, sight or
hearing disabilities wishing to review documents should contact the Cityof Auburn
within 10 calendar days prior to the Council meeting, as to the type of service or
equipment needed. Each request will be considered individually according to the type
of request, the ayailability of resources and the financial ability of the City to provide the
requested services or equipment.
