ORDINANCE NO. 805.
AN ORDINANCE: Directing the bringing and proseoution
of an aotion in the Superior Court of the state of Washing-
ton, for the County of King, to foreGlose the liens of cer-
tain delinquent local improvement assessments, or install-
ments thereof, levied by the City of Auburn.
. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:

Seotion 1. That the City Treasurer of the City of Au-
burn be, and he hereby is, instruoted and direoted to, on
or before the first day of April, 1938, initiate prooeed-
ings on behalf of said oity in the manner provided by Sec-
tion 9386 of Remington's 1927 Supplement, Compiled Statutes
of Washington, as amended by Seotion 1 of Chapter 9 of the
Laws of Washington of the year 1933, to foreolose the liens
of all local improvement assessments levied by the City of
Auburn upon property in whioh two or more installments
thereof were delinquent on the first day of January, 1938,
or in whioh the final installment thereof was delinquent
for more than one year on the first day of January, 1938,
or in whioh the entire assessment when payable under the
"immediate payment plan" was delinqUEnt for more than one
year on the first day of January, 1938, and with suoh legal
assistance as the City Counoil may provide, to bring an
action for and on behalf of the City of Auburn i.n the Sup-
erior Court of the State of Washington, for the County of
King, to foreclose suoh delinquent assessments and to pro-
oeed with suoh foreolosure prooeedings in the manner pro-
vided by said Seotion 9386 as amended as aforesaid.
Seotion 2. That the City Treasurer of the City of
Auburn be and he hereby is, instruoted and direoted to
mail or Gause to be mailed, at least thirty (30) days be-
fore oommenoement of the foreolosure aotion referred to in
SeGtion 1 of this ordinanee, to the person or persons whose
name or names appear upon said assessment rolls as the own-
er or owners of any lot, traot or parcel of land at his
address known to the treasurer, stating the amount due upon
eaoh separate lot, traot or paroel of land and the date af-
ter whioh foreolosure prooeedings will be Gommenoed; all as
provided by Seotion * of Chapter 9 of the Laws of Washing-
ton of the year 1933.
