AN ORDINANCE approving and accepting on behalf of the City of
Auburn a written deed of oonveyanGe from Consolidated School District
No. 219, Auburn, King County, Washington, dated February 4, 1938,
for the purpose of widening portions of "Ell Street N. E. and Second
Street N. E. in the City of Auburn.
The City Council of the City of Auburn do ordain as follows:

Section 1. That that certain written deed of conveyance, dated
February 4, 1938, wherein Consolidated School District, No. 219,
Auburn, King County, Washington, is grantor, and the City of Auburn
~ is grantee, and whereby the grantor~ therein oonve~and quit-olaims
to the City of Auburn, for public street and high-way purposes, and
for such purposes only, and as parts of liE" Street N. E. and Seoond
Street N. E. in the City of Auburn, the following described real
estate:
Beginning at the intersection of the east line of Downing &
Shrader's Addit ion to the City 0 f Auburn, King County, Wash-
ington, with the north line of Main Street esst (formerly
called First Street), running thence north 0 09' 02" east
along the said east line of said D~lning & Shrader's
Addition 574.84 feet, more or less, to the south line of
Lange's First Addition to Auburn, thence north 860 50'
east along the. south line of said Lange's First Addition
to Auburn 363.87 feet, more or less, to the east line
of said Lange's First Addition thence south 3 10' east
30.02 feet~ thence south 860 50' west 335.70 feet, thenoe
south 00 O~' 0211 west 544.84 feet, more or less, to the
north line of said Main Street east, thence south 860 51'
west along said north line to the point of beginning;
situated in the City of Auburn, in the County of King,
State of Washington;
and which deed of conveyance has been tendered by said School Distriot
to the City of Auburn, be and the same hereby is approved and aocepted
by the City of Auburn.
;I,~ Section 2. That the City Clerk be and hereby, is instructed to
; file said written deed of oonveyance for record with the County
Auditor of King County, Washington, and that the land conveyed by
said written deed of conveyance shall constitute portions of IIEII
street N. E. and Seoond street N. E. and shall become parts of said
streets.
