o R DIN A N CE NO. 807
AN ORDINANCE approving and acoepting on behalf of the City of
Auburn a written deed of conveyance from Corporation of the Catholio
Bishop of Seattle, dated January 30, 1938, for the purpose of
extending Fourth Street N. E. in the City of Auburn.
The city Council of the City of Auburn do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That that oertain written deed of conveyance, dated
January 30, 1938, wherein Corporation of the Catholic Bishop of
Seattle is grantor and the City of Auburn is grantee, and whereby the
grantor therein conveys and quit-olaims to the City of Auburn for
public street and highway purposes and for suoh purposes only, the
following described real estate:
A tract of land 60 feet in width in Govt. Lot 7, section 18,
township 21 north, range 5 east W.M. . partioularly bounded and
described as follows: Commenoing at the southwest oorner of
lot 1 in blook 2 of Lange's First Addition to Auburn, King
County, Washington, running thence north 860 50' east along
the north line of 4th street N.R. in the City of Auburn
183.60 feet more or less to the east line of said Lange's
First Addition to the true point of beginning, thenoe north
860 6' 15" east 614.14 feet, more or less, to the west line
of H Street N.E. in the City of Auburn as shown on plat of
Poplarwood Addition to the City of Auburn, Washington, thenoe
south along the west line of said H Street N.E. 60.04 feet;
thence south 860 6' 15" west 610.56 feet, more or less, to
the said east line of said Lange's First Addition to Auburn
at the northeast oorner of lot 4 in blook 3 of said Lange's
First Addition; thence north 30 10' west along said east
line 60.00 feet to the true point of beginning. Situated in
the City of Auburn in the County of King, State of Washington;
and whioh deed of conveyance has been tendered by said Corporation
of the Catholic Bishop of Seattle to the City of Auburn, be and the
same hereby is approved and aocepted by the City of Auburn.
Seotion 2. That the City Clerk be and hereby is instructed
to file said written deed of conveyance for reoord with the County
Auditor of King County, Washington, and that the land oonveyed by
said written deed of conveyance shall constitute a portion of Fourth
street N. E. in the City of Auburn.
