ORDINANCE NO. 814
AN ORDINANCE: Fixing the amounts of tax levies neoessary
to raise the amounts of the estimated expenditures of the City of
Auburn for the year 1939, less the amounts of estimated revenues from
sources other than taxation inoluding available surplus, and suoh
expenditures as are to be met from bonds and warrant issues, looal
improvement guaranty fund, and the expenditures for salaries and wages,
maintenance, operation and oapital outlay of and for the public library
for the City of Auburn, all for the year 1939.
;ffiE~AS, the City Council of the City of Auburn has hereto-
fore, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 158 of the Session Laws of
the State of \ffishington for the year 1923, and the laws of said state
supplemental thereto and amendatory thereof, duly fixed and determined
separately each item of the budget of the City of Auburn for the year
1939, and by ordinance duly adopted said budget as so fixed and deter-
mined;
NOW, THEREFORE, in order to raise by general taxation the
moneys as provided for in said budget adopted by ordinanoe as aforesaid,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN IX) ORDAIN AS FOllOWS:
Seotion 1. That there be and is hereby levied upon all of the
real and personal property situated within the present Gorporate limits
.of King County, Washington, for the year A.D. 1938, as equalized and
fixed by the oounty and state boards of equalization, taxes for the
follOWing funds for the City of Auburn as follows:
(a) MUNICIPAL BUILDING, INTEREST .AND SINKING FUND.

(b) PARK B01.1DS, INTEREST AND REDEMPTION FtlND.
For redemption, interest and surplus
