ORDINANCE NO. 822
AN ORDINANCE: Creating and establishing a Civil Servioe
Commission for the Polioe Department of The City of Auburn, and
adapting Chapter 13 of the ~ession Laws of the State of Washington for
1937. "
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Seotion 1. That the ~ivil Servioe system set forth in J
Chapter 13 of the Session Laws of the State of Washington for 1937 be
and_the same is hereby adopted by the City of Auburn, and all of the
details and provisions of said vhapter 13 are hereby made a part of
this ordinanoe as fully as if incorporated herein.
Seotion 2. that there is hereby Greated pursuant to said
Chapter 13 a ~ivil Servioe commission for the Polioe Department of
The City of Auburn, whioh oommission shall be oomposed of three (3)
members and appointed by the Mayor oif The City of Auburn. The members.
of suoh Gommission shall hold offioe as provided in said Chapter 13,
and shall have and exeroise all powers and duties presoribed by Chap-
ter 13 of the Session Laws of the State of Washington for 1937. (
