OItDIN.ANCE No. 837
AN ORDl!!ANCE providing for the issuance of bonds of Local
Improvement District No. 99, fixing the amount of such bond issue,
also the date and denomination of such bonds, and ordering delivery
of such bonds.
THE CITY COm"lCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN 00 ORDAIN AS FOLLOiIS:
SECT~ON 1. That Local Improvement bonds of Local Improvement
District No. 99 of the City of Auburn be issued in the manner and
form provided by Ordinance No. 261 of the Ordinances of the City of
Auburn relating to the issuance of Local Improvement bonds for and
on account of the costs and expense of making improvements provided
for in Ordinance No. 830 of the Ordinances of the City of Auburn
creating Local Improvement District No. 99 of said city.
SECTION 2. That the total amount of said local improvement
bonds to be issued as in this ordinance provided is hereby fixed
at the sum of Seventeen Thous~d, Tvro Hundred Seventy-Two and 67/100
(017,272.67) Dollars; said sum of ~17.272.67 being the amount of the
cost and expense of making improvements under the provisions of said
Ordinance No. 830 remaining unpaid after I1arch 24, 1941.
SECTION 3. That said bonds shall be dated April 14, 1941,
shall be in denominations of One Hundred (~100.00) Dollars each
except the first numbered of said bonds which shall be in the sum of
One Hundred seventy-Two and 67/100 (0172.67) Dollars, shall bear
interest at the rate of five and one-half per cent (5~) per annum,
payable annually, and shall have attached thereto interest coupons
for each interest paymeJ;jt.
SECTION 4. 'i'hat the City Clerk of the City of Auburn is here-
by ordered and directed to cause to be printed such bonds of Local
Improvement District ~:o. 99 and that, upon execution thereof in the
manner prescribed by law and the Ordinances of said city, said City
Clerk be and is hereby aut horized to sell said bonds and deliver
said bonds to the purchaser or purchasers thereof on payment to said
City of the amount or amounts of the principal of such bond or bonds,
tOEether with premiums and accrued interest, if any, and that there-
upon the warrants of said Local ImpraveroentDistrict No. 99 be re-
tired and that said City C1er;, be and is hereby also authorized to
sell and deliver said bonds at par and accrued interest, if any, in
exchange for and redeuption of the Vlarrants dravm upon Local Improve-
!Ilentl!'und, District ~;o. 99 of the Local Improvement l!'unds of the
City of Auburn remaining unpaid.
