THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN DO ORDllN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 158 of the Laws 01' Washington of the year A.D. 1923, and the Laws of the State 01' Washington supplementary thereto and amendatory thereof, the Mayor .01' the City of Auburn has heretofore duly oompleted aIld plaoed on file with the City Clerk at the City of Auburn a prelimin- ary budget for the year 1942; that notioe was thereupon duly published as reQ.uired by law stating that the Mayor had completed and placed on file such preliminary budget am that a copy would be furnished to any taxpayer who would call therefor at the office of the City Clerk and that the City Council of the City of Auburn would meet on the first Monday of October, 1941, at 7:00 P.M. for the purpose 01' fix- ing the final budget and making tax levies and that any taxpayer might appear at such meet 1ng and be heard far or against any part of such budget, designating the place of such meeting as the City Hall in the City of Auburn, King County, Washington; that the Mayor of the City 01' Auburn duly provided a suitable number of copies of such detailed preliminary budget to meet the reasonable demands of tax-payers therefor; that the Mayor and the City Council of the City 01' Auburn duly met at the time designated in said notice at the City Hall in the City 01' Auburn on October 6.1941, at 7:ao P.M.; that any and all taxpayers 01' the City of Auburn were given full opportu- nity to be heard for or against such budget; that at said meeting said budget was considered carefully, item by item and that at the conclusion of such hearing said City Council on said sixth day 01' Ootober, 1941, duly fixed and determined each item of said budget separately, and that the iteme of expense so fixed and determined and now here adopted by this ordinance are as follows, to-wit: PARK BONDS, INTEREST AND REDEMPTION FUND Bonds numbered 23 and 24, serial - - Interest on f4,OOO.OO for six months Intere:~ ~n3'~,~oO.OO-f~r-six-m;n~h; - - - - -- at 4 3/4 % - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Total - - - - - - - - - - - -$ Less estimated cash balance, Jan. 1, 1942, - $ 1,000.00 95.00 71. 25 1,166.25 366.25 Amount to be raised by taxation, - - - - - - - - - - - - - - $ aoo.oo LOCAL lMPROVEMENT GUARAN'.I:"Y PUND Sum necessary to meet finanoia1 requirements 01' Looal Improvement Guaranty Fund Law passed in 1927, as amended, - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - $ 4,500.00 Amount to be raised by t.axation, - - - - - - - - - - - - - - $ 4,500.00 -1.
