ORDINANCE NO. 860
AN ORDINANCE approving and accepting, on behalf of the City of
Auburn, a written deed of oonveyanoe from David A. Botting and Ruby S.
Botting, his wife, dated September 10, 1943, for pub1io street and
highway purposes, for the purpose of extending Third street N. E. and
L street N. E., in the City of Auburn.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOilS:

Seotion 1. That that oertain written deed of oonveyanoe, dated
September 10, 1943, wherein David A. Botting and Ruby S. Botting, hie
wife, are Grantors, and the City of Auburn is Grantee, and whereby the
grantors therein oonvey and quit c1s.im to the City of Auburn, for pub~
lie street and highway purposes, and for suoh use only, two oertain
traots of land situated in the city of Auburn, in the County of King,
state of Washington, partiouiar1y desoribed as follows, to~wit:
1. Beginning at the Northwest oorner of Block 5 in Frenoh's
First Addition to the Town of Slaughter, as the same appears
on the reoorded plat thereof now of reoord in the County Aud-
itor's Office in King County, Washington, in Volume 5 of
Plats, at page 53, running thence easterly along the South-
erly marginal line of Madison Street, as the same appears in
said plat, a distanoe of 600 feet, more or less, to the west-
erly marginal line of M street N. E. (formerly named Char-
lotte Ave.) in the City of Auburn, as said M street N. E. now
exists, thence northerly along said westerly marginal line a
distance of 1li#fee'b ~ ,thence YTesterl,y in a straight line .Il. .'dis~
tance of 600 feet, more or less, to the Southwest corner of
Block 2, as platted in said addition, thence south in straight
line to the point and place of beginning, to beoome a part of
Third Street N. E., in the City of Auburn.
2. Beginning at the Northwest corner of Block 6 in French's
First Addition to the Town of Slaughter, as the same appears On
the recorded plat thereof now of record in the County Auditor's
Office in King County. Vlashillgton, in Volume 5 of Plats, at
page 53, running thence westor1y a distance of 60 feet, more or
less, to the Northeast corner of Blook 5 in said addition,
thenoe southerly in a straight line a distance of 415 feet,
more or less, to the Northeast corner of Lot 18 in Block 8 of
said addition, thenoe easterly 60 feet, more or less, to the
Northwest corner of Lot 10 in Block 7 of said addition, thenoe
northerly in a straight line to the point and place of begin~
ning, to become a part of L Street N. E., in the City of Auburn;
and which deed of oonveyanoe has been tendered by said David A. Botting
and Ruby S. Botting, his wife, to the City of Auburn, be and the same
hereby is approved and aooepted by the City of Auburn.
Seotion 2. That the City Clerk be and he hereby is instruoted to
file said written deed of oonveyanoe for reoord with the County Auditor
of King County, Washington, and that the land so oonveyed by said written
deed of conveyanoe shall oonstitute continuations of Third street N. E.
and L. Street N. E., respeotive1y, in the City of Auburn.
