ORDINANCE NO. 861
AN ORDINANCE approving and aooepting, on behalf of the City of
Auburn, a written deed of oonveyanoe from Joe Inman, et a1, dated
September 7,1943, for pub1io street and highway purposes, for the
purpose of extending K Street N. E., in the City of Auburn.
THE CITY COUNCn OF THE CITY OF AUBURN J)O ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Seotion 1. That that oertain written deed of oonveyance, dated
September 7,1943, wherein Joe InmaD and Juanita E. Inman, his wife,
David A. Botting and Ruby S. Botting, his wife, Haro1d'L. Clark and
Olive A. Clark, his wife, and Thomas G. Sutherland and Leela Poore
Sutherland, his wife, are grantors, and the City of Auburn is grantee,
and whereby the grantors therein oonvey and quit olaim to the City of
Auburn, for publio street and highwa.y purposes, and for suoh use only,
that oertain traot of land, situated. in the City of Auburn, in the
County of King, State of Washington, particularly desoribed as follows,
to-wit:
Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Lot One,(l), in B100k 3,
of ~'renoh's .I!'irst Addition to the Town of Slaughter, as the
same appears on the reoorded plat thereof now of record in
the County Auditor's Offioe of King County, ~ashington, in
Volume 5 of Plats, at page 53, running thenoe southerly in
a straight line a distanoe of 720 feet, more or less, to the
Northeast oorner of Lot 20, in Blook 9, of said Addition;
thenoe East 60 feet to the Northwest Corner of Lot 10, in
Blook 8 of said addition; thenoe northerly in a straight line
a distanoe of 720 feet, more or less, to a point on the south
marginal line of 4th Street N. E., in the City of Auburn,
whioh point is 60 feet easterly from the point of beginning,
thenoe west to beginning, to become a part of K Street N. E.,
in the City of Auburn;
and whioh deed of oonveyance has been tendered by said grantors to the
City ')f Auburn, be and the same her!lby is approved and aooepted..by _the
City of Auburn. ~-
Seotion 2. That the City Clerk be and he hereby is instruoted to
file said written deed of oonveyanoe for reoord with the County Auditor
of King County, Washington, and that the land so conveyed by said written
deed of oonveyance shall oonstitute a oontinuation of K street N. E.
