� �AHEREAS, a petition dated March 9, 1979, together with plot plans and °..

exterior elevations therefor, has been submitted to the Council of the City
� �
� of Auburn, by CHAVERS & UNDERWOOD, doing business as PARKSIDE RETIREMENT CEMTcR,
� requesting a Conditional Use Permit on prooerty zoned R-4 �ahich would allow for
� the construction of a 64 bed addition to an existing retirement liome located at
.° 2902 "I" Street Northeast, v�ithin the City of Auburn, 4Jashington, �ahich property
;�
{ hereinafter described in Section 1 of this Ordinance and which property presently
carries an R-4 (t4ulti-Family) classification; and
IdHEREAS, said request above referred to was referred by the City Council
to the City Planning Commission for study and public hearing thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Corrmiission held a public hearing to consider the
request in the Council Chambers of the Auburn City Hall , at 7:30 P.M. on April
3, 1979, and subsequent thereto the City Planning Commission approved the issuance
of a Conditional Use Permit on property zoned R-4, finding that the proposed use
illustrated by the site development plans of the petitioners would not be unduly
• detrimental to the adjacent and surrounding propertie.s and the enjoyment thereof;
and
IdHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Auburn held a public hearing to
consider said petition in the Council Char�bers of the Auburn City liall at 8:00 P.M.
on May 7, 1979, at the conclusion of which the City Council concurred with the
recommendations of the Planning Commission as hereinabove stated;
NOW, THEREFORE, .?F!E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGiON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: ,
Section 1 . That a Conditional Use Permit on property zoned R-4 (Multi-Family)
be granted for the �purpose of constructing a G4 bed addition to an existing retire-
ment home located at 2902 "I" Street N.E. , situated in the City of Auburn, County
of King, State of Washington, and legally described as follows, to-wit:

a copy of which is attached hereto, designated as Exhibit "A" and by this reference
made a part hereof as though set forth in full herein.
Section 2. That the recortonendations of the Public 4lorks Department as
outlined in their memo of March 28, 1979, be attached to and become part of this
. Ordinance.
Section 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Auburn; is hereby authorized
and directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinarce with the King County
Auditor.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days
from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
