3 OF AUBURN CITY CODE, SECTION 13.20.440 ENTITLED FEES AND CHARGES
TO INCORPORATE THE METRO RATE INCREASE FOR SEWER CHARGES.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
6 Section 1. The purpose of this Amendment is to incorporate a rate increas
� by Metro for 1990 sewer charges into the monthly sewer rate for Auburn
$ residents.
9 Section 2. Section 13.20.440, entitled "Fees and charges" of Chapter
10 13.20 of the Auburn City Code, be amended as follows :

Non-single family accounts will be allowed to avera9e winter water con-
16 sumption for the months of December through April to determine the summer
17 sewer rates for the months of June, July, August, and September. Said
18 allowance shall be upon application and with appropriate justification that
19 additional surmner usage does not enter the sewer system.
20 Non-single family accounts without City water service shall tie charged at
21 the applicable rate above inside the City or outside the City rate per 100
22 cubic feet after the minimum 900 cubic feet. The customer shall have
23 installed a city supplied water meter or other acceptable means of recording

1 water use, by applying for a permit under Section 13.04.110 which shall be
