Resolution No. 5077 (Miller) Emergency Preparedness Manager Sarah Miller briefed the Committee on Resolution No. 5077 which is a replacement for the Regional Disaster Plan. The Regional Plan was the inter-county mutual aid agreement. It is now called the King County Regional Coordination Framework (RCF) for Disasters and Planned Events. The agreement provides for mutual aid between governmental and non-governmental entities within King County and allows for cost recovery during disasters. Since the City of Auburn is the s.ignatory, all areas within the City including areas that fall within Pierce County, are covered under this plan. There is no cost to the City to be a part Page 1 of 3 of this financial agreement. If we request mutual aid from another entity we pay the bill; if another entiry requests aid from us, they pay the bill. Additionally, the 60-day requirement is a 'good faith' effort that all participating entities_will get their bilis submitted and paid in a timely manner. This will also assist in receiving FEMA reimbursement. Committee discussion followed. Vice Chair Osborne moved to forward Resolution No. 5077 to full Council for consideration. Member DaCorsi seconded. Chair Peloza concurred. MOTION PASSED: 3-0 IV. DISCUSSION ITEMS A.
