THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into by Pierce County and City of Auburn.
WHEREAS, the parties have previously entered into an agreement dated 7/1/2013 for the reimbursement of
salaries to participating cities in order to perform the activities of the Tacoma Regional Task Force.
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the agreement in consideration of the mutual benefits and advantages to
be derived by each of the parties,
IT IS HEREBY AGREED as follows: Add additional funding of $1707.84 per Washington State Department
of Commerce Amendment M136- 314409013A dated 1/1/14.
All other terms and conditions of the agreement and all supplements and modifications thereto shall remain in full force
and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this amendment to be duly executed, such parties acting by
their representatives being there unto duly authorized.

12. Amendment Purpose:
To increase the amount of federal funds supporting the activity named in Block 2 above by $11,955. increasing the total federal funds
to $115,791, and the total funding of contract to $146,723
COMMERCE, defined as the Department of Commerce, and the Contractor acknowledge and accept the terms of this Contract As
Amended and attachments and have executed this Contract Amendment on the date below to start as of the date and year referenced
above. The tights and obligations of both parties to this Contract As Amended are governed by this Contract Amendment and the
following other documents incorporated by reference: Contract Terms and Conditions including Attachment "A "- Scope of Work
Attachment "B" - Budget, Attachment "C" - Activity Reporting, the Grantee's Application for Funding under this program as
amended, the Grantee's Certifications and Assurances required by COMMERCE as pre - requisites for execution of this agreement, and
`Criminal Justice Grants — Policies and Procedures Guide' published by COMMERCE as amended. A copy of this Contract
Amendment shall be attached to and made a part of the original Contract between COMMERCE and the Contractor. Any reference in
the original Contract to the "Contract" shall mean the "Contract As Amended"

Allocation of the Increase by Category of Expense:
The CONTRACTOR may expend the increased funds in any category of expense of grant funds which
were not zero balanced/budgeted in the CONTRACTOR's Application for Funding under this program.
Calculation of Forfeiture Subject to Federal Grant Rules:
Note. the Contractor must recalculate the percentage of grant to total project (task force) costs, from the
effective date of this amendment, for use in determining the amount of forfeitures processed under state
forfeiture rules which are subject to federal grant regulations.
