CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING
Meeting Minutes of July 25, 2014
A special meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on July 25, 2014 in Conference Room 3
located on the Second floor of 25 West Main Street, Auburn, WA. The following members were in
attendance.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Gene Cerino and Member Terry Hurlbut
STAFF PRESENT: Assistant Chief of Police Bill Pierson, City Attorney Dan Heid, Director of Human
Resources/Risk Management Rob Roscoe, and Police Secretary/Scribe Terry
Mendoza
STAFF ABSENT: Assistant City Attorrney Doug Ruth
ACTION:
Chairman Cerino called the meeting to order at 10:00 am.
Approval of the July 25, 2014 Police Services Specialist Eligibility List-expires 7/2015:
• Motion to approve the Police Services Specialist eligibility list made by Member Hurlbut, second
by Chairman Cerino. Motion approved.
Appointment of the Civil Service Examiner Pro Tem:
• Motion to approve Terry Mendoza, Police Department Secretary, as the Civil Service Examiner
Pro Tem made by Member Hurlbut, Second by Chairman Cerino. Motion approved.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business to come before the Commission,the meeting adjourned at 10:03 a.m.
