CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING
Meeting Minutes of August 12, 2014
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on August 12, 2014 in Conference
Room 3 located on the Second floor of 25 West Main Street, Auburn, WA. The following members were in
attendance.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Pro Tern Roger Thordarson and Member Terry Hurlbut.
STAFF PRESENT: Assistant Chief of Police Bill Pierson, Assistant City Attorney Doug Ruth and Civil Service
Examiner Pro Tern Terry Mendoza.
ACTION:
Chairman Pro Tern Thordarson called the meeting to order at 3:32 pm.
Approval of-the July 8, 2014 Civil Service Commission meeting minutes:
• Motion to approve meeting minutes made by Member Hurlbut, second by Chairman Pro Tern Thordarson.
Motion approved.
Approval of the July 2S, 2014 Special Commission Meeting Minutes.
• Motion to approve meeting minutes made by Member Hurlbut, second by Chairman Pro Tern Thordarson.
Motion approved.
Approval of the Lateral Police Officer Eligibility List. List expires 7/2015.
• Motion to approve meeting minutes made by Member Hurlbut, second by Chairman Pro Tern Thordarson.
Motion approved.
Approval of the Entry Level Police Officer Eligibility List. List expires 7/2015.
• Motion to approve meeting minutes made by Member Hurlbut, second by Chairman Pro Tern Thordarson.
Motion approved.
UPDATES /NEW BUSINESS:
• No new business.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting adjourned at 3:37 p.m.
