Auburn Police responded to the
following incidents, among many
others, between Sept. 23 and 29:
Sept. 23
Shoplifting: 6:55 a.m., ,
762 outlet Collection Drive SW.
For exercising hei shoplifting
skills at the Auburn Walmart, .
store security detained a woman,
who turned out have a history
of shoplifting from other local
'Walmarts. When police arrived,
they busted the woman and
hauled her off to jail. -
Sept. 25
Theft:0vernlght,11800 block of
Southeast 316th Place. Having en-
tered a vehicle without permission,
persons known only to themselves
swiped a pair of shoes and pocketed
$20 in change.

730 block of 10th Street Northeast.
Although the man had contacted
Auburn Animal Control about a
stray cat, police arrived to bust him
on the 'strength of a felony warrant
from Oregon with his name stuck

Vandalism:8:16 a.m.,1102 .
Auburn Way S. Vandals damaged the
window of a vehicle in som_ a way and
it some cost to its owner.
Vandal ism Overnight,11500
block of Southeast 316th Place.
Somebody, of several somebodies,
damaged a van's tires, cost undis-
closed.' -
Felony eluding: 5:15 p.m.,
1500 West Valley Highway N. A male
astride a red and black sport motor-
cycle eluded an officer's enforcement
stop.
Shoplifting: 4:17 p.m.,
12722 SE 312th St. Police arrested a
woman for shoplifting $58.64 worth
of undisclosed merchandise from The
Food Market at Lea Hill.
Sept. 29
Bike theft: 8:17 a.m.;l3oo block
of 28th Place Southeast. Somebody
stole a man's bicycle, make and value
undisclosed.. -
Trespassing: 10:23a.m.,2115 -
Auburn Way S. Police informed a
man that the wooded area west of
the Muckleshoot Smoke Shop would
henceforth he off limits to him.
Fraud: 12:36 p.m., 38000 block
of 41st Place South. A man came
into the Auburn Police Department
to complain that days earlier he'd
bought two dogs via a website, paid
via a Western Union money transfer,
but nodogs. _
Theft., 4 p.m., 5300 block of Olive
Avenue Southeast. A man reported
the theft days earlier of his guns, .
make and value not disclosed.
Fraud: 3:07 p.m., 10 block of R
Street Southeast. An unknown
debt collector called a man to warn
him that if he didn't immediately
cough up the dough he awed, police
would be hauling him off tojail.The
resident used a credit card to pay the
debt, thus concluding the scam.
