I. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 2:05 pm.
Tree board members attending were Marsha Goodwin, Brooksie Donna Hall, Jan Speer, James
Tourangeau, Chair Bryce Landrud. Also present at the meeting were Parks Horticulturist Richard Valenti,
Parks Secretary Julie Mehl.
II. Minutes
The September 2014 Tree Board minutes were approved unanimously.
III. Correspondence /Public Input
IV. Old Business
Potential Heritage Tree — Chair Bryce Landrud shared photos of an Oregon Myrtle tree located
on 40 St NE as a potential Heritage Tree.
V. New Business
Discussion on possible grant application to aid in city street tree inventory through the
Washington State Department of Natural Resources. Jamie Kelly to update board at November
meeting.
VI. Board Recommendations /Input
VII. Department Report — Richard Valenti
Parks Maintenance normal fall duties include mowing, early leaf removal, pre- emergent
application.
VIII. Adjournment
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 2:55 pm.
