AN 0iWI~i\~.\;E OF THE CITY OF AUBURN, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE PU":CIiASE
OF CERTAIN REAL PtWPERTlES SITUATE \J1THIN THE CORPO:~"TE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF AU8URN, FOR FREE OFF-STREET PARKING PURPOSES, PURSUANT TO
ORDINANCEs NO. 1645 AND 1652, AS AMENDED; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
ISSUANCE OF INTEREST BEARIN~ WARRANTS THEREFOR, PAYABLE FROM LOCAL
I~P~OVEMiNT FUND, DISTRICT NO. 155.
WHEREAS, the City of Auburn, by 6rdinance No. 1645, has heretofor
adopted a comprehensive plan for the provision of free off-street parking
facilities within the corporate limits of the City; and,
WHEREAS, the tity of Auburn by Ordinance No. 1652, as amended by
Ordinance No. 1659, has created and establ ished a local improvement
district for the acquisition and construction of free off-street parking
fac i I it i es wit hi n the corporate I i m its of the City, pursuant to the
comprehensive plan therefor adopted by Ordinance No. 1645, said local
improvement district being designated as local Improvement District No.
155; and,
ImEREAS, it has become necessary for the City of ,Auburn to complete
the purchase of six (6) of the seven (7) off-street parking lots at the
present time;

and directed to purchase from the legal owners, the following described

Improvement District No. 155:

ton, are hereby authorized and directed to honor local improvement Fund,
District No. 155 vouchers drawn upon said fund of the City of Auburn and
executed by the legal Owners of the hereinabove described parcels of real
property In the sums provided for hereinabove in Section 1 of this

ordinance, upon the owners tendering to the City of Auburn, Washington, a
Warranty Deed to the properties hereinabove described, and a pol icy of
Title Insurance in a sum equivalent to the purchase price of said properties,
insuring the City of Auburn, Washington, and showing in the sellers legal
and marketable title.

Section 3. The City Clerk be and hereby is authorized and directed
to issue interest bear i n~l revenue warrants drawn on the loca t I mpr ovement
Fund, District No. 155 of the City of Auburn in payment of the vouchers
issued for the purchase of the properties hereinabove described in Section
1 of this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect f.ive (5) days from its
pnssago, approval and publ ication as provided~by taw.
